Fair Information

Welcome to the website of the EHEF New Delhi 2008!

Following the success of the European Higher Education Fair (EHEF) 2006, a second edition took place on 13th and 14th November 2008 at the InterContinental THE GRAND New Delhi.

The Fair was open to the public on both days from 10 a.m. to 18 p.m and attracted about 6000 visitors.

The EHEF was funded by the European Union and provided a platform for representatives of the EU Member States and Higher Education Institutions (HEI) to inform fair visitors about higher education opportunities in the 27 European Union Member States represented during the Fair.

Official representatives from 91 higher education institutions and their national representations from the EU Member States provided detailed information about their study programmes, enrolment procedures, language requirement, living conditions and other related issues. The European Commission was represented in the European Pavilion and provided general information on studying in Europe.

Apart from the information booths where visitors had the possibility to meet the representatives of the institutions and get individual counselling, country presentations were held where students could find out more about the respective higher education system, study opportunities and scholarship programmes. Representatives of the European Commission presented the European Union in general, the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship Programme especially the Erasmus Mundus Masters Courses and Erasmus Mundus External Cooperation Window as well as the Erasmus Mundus Association of India.
