1. Do you satisfy the India-EU Higher Education Symposium eligibility
criteria ?
In order to be eligible to
participate in the India-EU Higher
Education Symposium you must fulfil the following criteria:
- be a representative of a European higher education institution involved
in one or more cooperation projects with an Asian higher education institution
or interested in participating in an EU-Asian cooperation project in the field
of higher education.
or
- be a representative of a higher education institution from India involved in
one or more cooperation projects with a European higher education institution
or interested in participating in an EU-Asian cooperation project in the field
of higher education.
or
- be a European or Indian stakeholder (e.g. government official, policy-maker
or representative from the economic sector) in the field of higher education
cooperation between the EU and Asia.
Due to the set number of places for the India-EU
Higher Education Symposium, the final selection of participants
will be confirmed by the organisers.
2.
Registration procedure
Applicants must register
online for the Symposium before 15th October 2008. Registration on
the spot will not be possible. Applicants will receive an email after their registration. This does not
confirm their participation, which will be done in a separate email.

3. Symposium terms and conditions
Participants must accept the Symposium terms and conditions which can be consulted here.
4.
Matchmaking activity
The Symposium participants
will be invited to take part in the matchmaking activity which brings together
European and Asian professionals in the field of higher education in order to
discuss possible cooperation projects and share experience.
Registration for the
matchmaking activity will be launched prior to the event.
5. Payment
Participation in the
Symposium is free of charge.
